Jahnavi & Jonathan had one of the coolest weddings I've ever been to.  It was held at Jahnavi's parents house and the day was awesome.  What was really neat was that the bride and groom pretty much took care of all the decorations themselves!  They own a stylin' jewelry shop up in Austin so I wasn't surprised that everything turned out so creative.  Seriously these guys are two of the most interesting people you'd ever meet...check em' out!

I love intimate ceremonies, I wish more brides would go that route. You did an awesome job as usual! You're really talented. You can make a wedding at a gas station look fabulous! :)

This is a first...I'm blogging a photo from a wedding on the same day I shot it!  Today Collins Metu invited me to tag along to a wedding with him for some friends of his.  I love it when I get the chance to second shoot for other photographers I admire because it gives me a chance to see how they do things.  There's also no pressure on my end and I get to just be creative and have fun!

I got to spend a few minutes with Chevonte and James today during their portrait session and man..they worked it out!  I couldn't stop looking at this image after I took it today, I just love the natural expressions on their faces...so lifestyle!

***Edited To Add...After going through the images I thought I'd add a few more photos to this post ;)

What was so cool about this shoot was how fun Courtney and Darryl were!  Usually (sorry guys) the guys take a little while to warm up and get into the shoot but Darryl was all smiles from the first shutter click.  He really knew how to make Courtney laugh and thats always great.  It was only fitting that after meeting Courtney last year that her engagement shoot should be at The Aquarium.  We walked around the theatre district after that and got some cool stuff.  Check these out!

So my birthday was actually over three weeks ago, March 23, but I'm just now finding time to blog a few pictures from the day's festivities.  My family and a few close friends all took me out to Escalantes in Highland Village!  The food was awesome, conversation was great, and we had some great laughs goofing around.  Wow, a quarter of my life has passed by...I'm starting to feel old ;)

These pics were taken with a point & shoot camera...just a heads up.
