Amber and Ronald got married at the St. Regis Resort in Punta Mita a month ago and it was amazing!  Alex came along with me to this wedding and we spent 3 days with one incredible group.  The wedding was outright gorgeous!  I also got the chance to photograph a Day-After session with them and I was able to try some new things (photographically) that I hadn't done before.  It's fun keeping things fresh and different from the normal stuff I always do.  I think we got a few really incredible images.

This is by far one of the longest post I've put up in a while.  It was extremely difficult narrowing down my favorites from 3 days worth of images.  Don't worry though...if you want to see more and get a feel of the complete story from the weekend you can watch the slideshow at the end!

Erin and Brian had a very cool backyard wedding earlier this month at her parent's home.  I've really been enjoying all the outdoor weddings I've been able to photograph recently!  This wedding was very small and intimate and I loved photographing all the details and relationships around.  Jennifer Wood was their to make sure the day ran smoothly, Sweet Delights created the wedding cake and The Sophsticates came out from Austin and jammed' all night.  I enjoy bands at weddings... they're so energetic and fun!

Here is another wedding that I photographed back in March.  Shel came by the studio yesterday to pick up her gorgeous 12x12 Leather Flush-Mount Album and I got so excited I started working on this post.  Neal and Shel got married at Union Station in Minute Maid Park!  I had never been to a wedding there before and it was really cool seeing it decorated for a wedding.

I love the classic look and feel of this wedding so I chose to incorporate a few more grainy B&W tones into the processing of these photos.  I love it!  Shel also put together a great team of vendors for her wedding:  Darryl & Co. provided the florals and decorations, Maureen's Bakery created their cake and Eclipse Band played amazing tunes through the night. My friend Collins Metu assisted me on this wedding.  As usual, if you want to see more be sure to check out the slideshow at the end!

I've been looking forward to photographing this wedding all year!  I met Erica and Evan through my friend and photographer Julie Wilhite.  Julie is Eric's sister and she helped a lot in the planning since Erica and Evan live in New York.  Julie is an awesome photographer herself so I will admit that I was a little nervous to photograph her sister's wedding!  Erica and Evan were so easygoing and fun to work with though that it made my job effortless.  I'll actually be photographing her other sister Cynthia's wedding in January too!  Sadly she is the last sibling, haha!

This was an outdoor wedding and we got extremely lucky with the gorgeous October weather.  They got ready at Hotel Derek and then headed over to The Gardens of Bammel Lane for the Ceremony and Reception.  It was my first time working at this venue and I love it.  It really is a hidden gem here in Houston.  I was also able to work with Jessica from Green Lilly Events for the first time and they made sure the day was perfect.  Ruggle's Green provided the catering and Cakes by Gina created their wedding cake.

My friend Rebecca-Linh assisted me at this wedding.  Thank you Erica and Evan for having me!  Now on to the fun part!

Vanessa and Javier had a beautiful wedding at Hotel Zaza this past March.  Because the sun set earlier back then I was able to convince them to do a "First Look" before the wedding.  It was great because we were still able to use the beautiful natural light for their personal couples portraits and it made for less photos to do after the ceremony.  I highly recommend doing the first look, especially in time crunch situations!

Anyway, back to the wedding...Hotel Zaza is one of my favorite wedding locations in Houston and their event was just perfect!  Rebekah Graves from Dream Bouquet provided the florals, Cheri Wexler from Something Planned coordinated the event.  Be sure to check out the slideshow at the end to see more!
